Three Ford & Harrison Attorneys Named 2005 “Georgia Rising Stars”

ATLANTA – Ford & Harrison, one of the nation's largest labor and employment law firms, is pleased to announce that Reneé A. Canody, Marc Esposito and Raazia K. Hall have been voted 2005 ‘Georgia Rising Stars’ in Atlanta Magazine and Georgia Super Lawyers by their peers.

Reneé A. Canody practices in the area of employment law and litigation. She is a member of the American Bar Association, Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys and Georgia Association for Women Lawyers. She is also the former Chair of the Young Lawyers Division Employers’ Duties and Problems Committee. Reneé currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Joseph B. Whitehead Boys & Girls Club and the Board of Directors for The Genesis Shelter. She earned her law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law (J.D., 1999) and her undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University (B.A., cum laude, 1995).

Marc Esposito practices traditional labor law with a concentration representing air carriers under the Railway Labor Act. He also represents employers under the National Labor Relations Act in unfair labor practice litigation and union election campaigns. Marc is a member of the Atlanta and American Bar Associations and the State Bar of Georgia. He received his law degree from Emory University (J.D., with distinction, 1995) where he was named to the Order of the Coif. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Rochester (B.A., cum laude, 1992).

Raazia K. Hall practices employment-based immigration and has specific experience in employment documentation issues for domestic and international companies. She is a member of the Lawyers Club of Atlanta and a member and former Chair of the Young Lawyers Division of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Raazia was also a member of the Executive Committee of the International Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia. She earned her law degree from Georgia State University College of Law (J.D., 1996) and her undergraduate degree from Agnes Scott College (B.A., 1991).

‘Rising Stars’ are voted on by the most recent group of ‘Georgia Super Lawyers,’ the top 5 percent of attorneys in the state. These select few vote on lawyers they have personally observed in action that are either 40 years of age or under or who have been practicing 10 or fewer years. Less than 2.5 percent of Georgia attorneys receive this honor each year.
