SPARTANBURG - Ford & Harrison LLP, a national labor and employment law firm, is pleased to announce that three Spartanburg-based attorneys have been named to Law & Politics' 2009 list of "South Carolina Super Lawyers."
The following attorneys were recognized: Wade E. Ballard, Thomas H. Keim, Jr. and Penny C. Wofford.
Wade Ballard represents management in labor and employment matters in the courts, in arbitration, and before government agencies, including the EEOC, the U.S. Department of Labor, the North and South Carolina Departments of Labor, the South Carolina Human Affairs Commission, and other agencies at the federal, state and local level. Wade received his J.D. from Duke University School of Law in 1982.
Tom Keim has practiced exclusively in the areas of management labor and employment law since 1987. He represents clients in federal and state courts in many jurisdictions throughout the United States. His experience ranges from the representation of clients in employment litigation to union campaigns, strikes, and other employment-related matters. Tom received his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1987.
Penny Wofford concentrates her practice in the area of employment litigation and employee benefits. She advises and defends employers, employer-sponsored plans, and plan fiduciaries against all types of claims under ERISA and employment discrimination laws. Penny received her J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1998.

The rigorous process is designed to identify lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.
