FordHarrison LLP, a national labor and employment law firm, announces the addition of Joanna S. Rich as an associate in the firm's Short Hills office. Prior to joining the firm, Joanna was an associate with a large New Jersey firm.
Joanna concentrates her practice on the representation of employers in labor and employment law matters. She has extensive litigation experience in state and federal courts and administrative matters, from initial intake and pleadings through discovery and trial. She also conducts internal investigations on a wide range of employment issues, including sexual harassment and assault, pregnancy discrimination, whistleblower claims, and misappropriation of trade secrets. Joanna received her B.A. from Bucknell University in 2005 and received her J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2008, where she was articles editor for the Wake Forest Intellectual Property Law Journal. After law school, Joanna was a Judicial Law Clerk to Hon. Mary Catherine Cuff, Presiding Judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division.
"We are very pleased to welcome Joanna to the firm as the New Jersey office continues to expand," said Sal Simao, a partner in FordHarrison's Short Hills office. "Adding associates of the highest caliber, such as Joanna, ensures that we are able to fulfill FordHarrison's client service promise." See www.fordharrison.com/fhpromise.aspx.
