About the Program
The Georgia Chapter of Association of Corporate Counsel and FordHarrison LLP will present "The FLSA - Big Risks and How to Avoid Them".  Running afoul of wage and hour regulations can be costly. To avoid litigation, in-house counsel must ensure that their companies' wage/hour policies and procedures are compliant with the Fair Labor Standards Act as well as state wage/hour statutes. To make matters more complicated, the U.S. Supreme Court plans to review certain aspects of the Act this session and the resultant ruling may change what is currently required of employers in their wage and hour policies and procedures.

Join FordHarrison partners Gordon Berger and Patricia Griffith for a luncheon seminar as they help you navigate the wage and hour minefield.  Gordon and Patricia will provide an overview of the law and the decision the U.S. Supreme Court will be weighing, preventive measures for avoiding FLSA liability and current strategies and tactics that plaintiffs' lawyers are utilizing in wage and hour litigation.
