Angela S. Fontana

Senior Associate / Los Angeles

Angela Fontana's practice is focused on the defense of management in employment disputes.

She represents and counsels employers in state and federal employment law matters, including matters involving claims of discrimination, wrongful termination, retaliation and harassment, as well as leaves of absence and accommodations.

Prior to joining FordHarrison, Angela was an associate for a civil litigation firm, where she concentrated her practice on representing both public and private employers in employment disputes. During law school, she engaged in employment defense while she clerked for the Employment Litigation department of the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office.

  • Obtained summary judgment in Los Angeles Superior Court on claims for gender discrimination by multiple plaintiffs.
  • Obtained summary judgment in Riverside Superior Court on claims of disability discrimination, failure to engage in an interactive process and failure to accommodate a disability.
  • Obtained dismissal of case alleging race discrimination and retaliation in United States District Court. 
  • Obtained summary judgment in Riverside Superior Court on claims of race and national origin discrimination and wrongful termination.
  • Obtained summary judgment on claims of sexual harassment and retaliation in United States District Court.
  • Obtained summary judgment in Los Angeles Superior Court on claims of gender discrimination, sexual harassment and defamation.
