Jenn Belli is a Partner with Bello Welsh, which is Of Counsel to FordHarrison LLP.
Jenn has experience in all aspects of labor and employment law. She defends employers in lawsuits involving various employment claims, including discrimination, harassment, wage and hour issues, unfair labor practices, wrongful termination and breach of contract. She also helps employers enforce and defend against non-competition agreements.
Jenn counsels employers on personnel matters, including hiring, employee discipline and termination, leaves of absence, employment policies, reductions in force and compliance with wage and hour laws. She also negotiates and drafts executive employment agreements, separation agreements and non-competition and confidentiality agreements. Jenn also has experience in traditional labor law, having represented unionized employers in arbitration proceedings and before the National Labor Relations Board and Massachusetts Labor Relations Commission. In 2009 and 2010, Jenn was selected for inclusion in Massachusetts Super Lawyers Rising Stars.
Jenn co-chairs the Employment Issues Committee of the Women's Bar Association of Massachusetts and co-authored the Committee's recent report on the occupational status of women attorneys in the Commonwealth. Outside of work, Jenn plays violin in the Wellesley Symphony Orchestra and serves on the Board of Directors of Zumix, Inc., a non-profit organization providing music instruction to Boston youth.
Prior to joining Bello Welsh, Jenn was a member of the Labor and Employment group at Goulston & Storrs, a large Boston-based law firm. Jenn received her B.A., summa cum laude, from Harvard College, where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Harvard Law School, where she served on the Editorial Board of the Harvard Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review and was a member of the Board of Student Advisers.
