OUR PEOPLE

Leanne Mehrman has a broad employment law practice and routinely counsels clients on a myriad of employment issues, conducts management training, drafts and reviews employment agreements, and litigates employment cases in state and federal court and administrative agencies throughout the country.

She has extensive experience representing clients concerning cases involving non-compete agreements, misappropriation of trade secrets, employment/business torts, and discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour litigation. She also has substantial experience representing employers facing claims by multiple employees.

Leanne devotes a significant part of her practice to preventive law and advising clients how to avoid/resolve employment disputes and litigation. She is also a certified mediator who specializes in employment disputes.

Earlier in her career, Leanne served as a law clerk for the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. She was a member of the Florida International Law Journal and was inducted into the Order of the Coif during law school.

Representative Experience
  • Represented a construction company in a multi-plaintiff lawsuit alleging race discrimination.
  • Represented an industrial company in an action asserting misappropriation of trade secrets, computer fraud and abuse, and other tort claims.
  • Represented several companies in cases before various United States District Courts alleging discrimination, retaliation, FMLA violations, misappropriation of trade secrets, and various state law claims.
