Sean Ducar concentrates his practice on the representation of clients in labor and employment law disputes. 

Prior to joining FordHarrison, Sean was an associate with a women owned litigation focused law firm based in Southern California. In this role, he handled a broad range of matters including general business litigation, employment litigation, and contract disputes.

During law school, Sean served as a law clerk in the Target Crimes Division of the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office, where he assisted in trying some of the most serious felony cases in Los Angeles County.  He also served as a certified law clerk in the Preliminary Hearings Division of the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, and conducted numerous preliminary hearings on felony matters.

Representative Experience
  • Successfully represented a company in an action for disability discrimination, harassment, retaliation, failure to accommodate, breach of employment agreement, and wrongful termination in violation of public policy.
  • Successfully represented a company in an action brought under the Private Attorney General Act alleging failure to pay overtime, failure to pay minimum wage, failure to provide meal and rest breaks, and related claims.
  • Successfully represented multiple clients in actions for failure to provide meal and rest breaks, failure to pay overtime, and related claims under the California Labor Code and California Business and Professions Code.
