Ashley A. Diaz practice focuses mostly on labor and employment issues, as well as employment-based immigration. She is a member of the firm's labor, litigation, benefits and immigration departments. Ashley primarily focuses her practice on defending employers' interests in the areas of:
- Sex Harassment and Other Hostile Work Environment Claims
- Disability Discrimination and Failure to Accommodate Cases
- Non-Compete, Non-Solicitation, Non-Disclosure and Trade Secret Cases
- Grievance Arbitrations pursuant to Collective Bargaining Agreements
- Wage and Hour claims.
Ashley's immigration practice includes working extensively with employers and their foreign national employees to secure lawful status for employment in the United States. Specifically, she assists employers in the preparation and filing of H-1B, L-1, TN, and other nonimmigrant visas, and applications for employment-based Permanent Residency.
Prior to joining Lowenbaum Law, Ashley had the unique opportunity to intern in New York City for the New York Yankees' legal department. She worked closely with the Chief Operating Officer and Deputy General Counsel assisting with transactional matters as well as analyzing legal issues for the organization.
