Katelyn Winslow is quoted in an article on the U.S. Supreme Court's decision in favor of same-sex marriage.
"Today's historic ruling for same-sex marriage means federal and state law will now apply equally to all individuals regardless of their spouse's gender. Universal same-sex marriage provides universal access and uniform taxation of employee benefits, which has long been at odds at the federal and state level. As same-sex marriage is recognized nationwide, states must redraft and even overturn prior legislation that controverts today's ruling. And employers are likely to see an increase in anti-discrimination litigation as new laws go into effect. While this ruling may have won the war, many same-sex legal battles are still to come."
