Dallas-Based FordHarrison Attorney Selected To Rising Stars 2013 List

Date   Mar 13, 2013

FordHarrison LLP, a national labor and employment law firm, is pleased to announce that Allyn Jaqua Lowell, Counsel in the firm's Dallas office, has been selected to the "2013 Texas Rising Stars" list.

Lowell represents employers in federal and state employment litigation matters. Her litigation experience includes conducting fact investigation, managing discovery, drafting and arguing motions and handling mediations. She also assists in all phases of labor relations including investigation and defense of unfair labor practice charges, pre-election supervisor training and drafting post-hearing arbitration briefs. During law school, she was awarded the CALI Award for Excellence in both Employment Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution for Labor Law. Lowell received her J.D., cum laude, from University of Memphis School of Law in 2006.

Attorneys are selected for this honor through a statewide nomination process, peer review by practice area and independent research on candidates. The rigorous process is designed to identify lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The Rising Stars list recognizes those who are 40 years old or younger or those who have been practicing for 10 years or less.  No more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state are named to the list.
