MIAMI - Elizabeth M. Rodriguez, a partner in the Miami office of Ford & Harrison LLP, a national labor and employment law firm, will deliver a presentation and be honored at the Spring Conference and Induction of Fellows for the Litigation Counsel of America on May 1 and 2 at The Palms Hotel in Miami Beach.

“Fellowship in the LCA is limited, representing less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers and is by invitation only,” said Anne Garland Mahler, Assistant Director of the LCA. “Ms. Rodriguez truly exemplifies the excellence in performance and ethical reputation, which are the qualifications for Fellowship in the Litigation Counsel of America.”

Elizabeth Rodriguez represents private and public sector employers in all areas of employment law. Her practice focuses on employment litigation, including counseling and representation. Her recent cases have included issues involving sex, race, national origin, and age discrimination; the Americans with Disabilities Act; Equal Pay Act; Family and Medical Leave Act; Fair Labor Standards Act, and Florida Whistleblower's Act, and employment-related tort and contract claims.

Rodriguez has successfully tried numerous cases resulting in defense verdicts and she has extensive appellate experience. Prior to joining the private sector, Rodriguez clerked with Judge Mario Goderich at the Third District Court of Appeals. She is AV® Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell and received her J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law in 1989.

“The LCA is a top notch organization and I am very honored to have been given the opportunity to address some of the finest litigators in the country at this event,” Rodriguez said.

Fellowship in the LCA is highly selective and by invitation only.
