Ford & Harrison Welcomes Seasoned Antitrust and Unfair Competition Litigation Partner Todd R. Seelman to the Denver Office

Date   Oct 5, 2011

Ford & Harrison LLP, a national labor and employment law firm, announces the addition of Todd R. Seelman as a partner in the firm's Denver office.  Seelman will focus his practice on representing clients in antitrust and unfair competition litigation matters. He joins the firm from the Denver-based firm Grimshaw & Harring, P.C.

"I am very excited about my move to Ford & Harrison," commented Seelman. "Being part of a national labor and employment law firm will increase the resources available to me in order to better serve my clients."

Seelman has more than twenty years' experience representing clients in federal and state antitrust and unfair competition litigation matters. These matters involve monopolization, price-fixing, bid-rigging, market divisions, resale price maintenance, tying, and market foreclosures.

Seelman advises corporate clients on the fundamentals of federal and state antitrust laws, including how antitrust issues arise in labor markets. He implements customized corporate antitrust audit and compliance programs, conducts internal audit and compliance investigations, structures distribution and marketing programs, and analyzes the competitive framework of business arrangements between producers, suppliers, wholesalers, retailers, brokers and customers.

He also represents clients in federal and state court employment litigation involving trade secret protection and employment restrictive covenant matters (non-competition agreements, non-solicitation agreements, and non-disclosure agreements).

Seelman is currently an adjunct professor of law at the University of Denver's Sturm College of Law where he teaches Antitrust and Unfair Competition Law.  He received his J.D., cum laude, from Hamline University School of Law in 1990.

"I'm excited to welcome Todd as a new member of our expanding legal team," said Matt Rita, the partner who heads up Ford & Harrison's Denver office. "His extensive experience in antitrust and unfair competition will be a valuable asset to our clients."
