Date   Mar 9, 2017

FordHarrison LLP, one of the country’s largest management-side labor and employment law firms, is pleased to announce that Kristin S. Gray, counsel in the firm’s Spartanburg office, has been chosen by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) to be a member of the LCLD Fellows Program in 2017.

“We are excited for Kristin,” said Dawn Siler-Nixon, FordHarrison’s Diversity and Inclusion Partner. “This is a great opportunity for her to join a talented group of attorneys working to expand diversity initiatives in the legal community.”

On the 2017 class of Fellows, Robert Grey, President of LCLD noted, “Already recognized as high achievers within their own organizations, the Fellows will experience a year of multifaceted professional development. Our Fellows program is unique in the nation, as it focuses on equipping participants with the advanced skills they need to play larger and more responsible roles in our Member organizations.”

Kristin represents management in labor and employment matters in the courts, in arbitration, and before government agencies, including the EEOC, the U.S. Department of Labor, the South Carolina Department of Labor, the South Carolina Human Affairs Commission, and other agencies at the federal, state and local level. She concentrates her practice on representing management in matters related to employment issues including discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims under Title VII, the ADA, the ADEA, and state law. Kristin also assists management with issues related to HIPAA compliance, employment policies, handbooks, the FMLA, contracts, separation agreements, wage and hour, and other workplace matters.

“I’m honored to have been selected as a Fellow and to represent FordHarrison in an organization that does such important work,” said Kristin. “I’m looking forward to the year ahead.”
