Date   Mar 11, 2011

Ford & Harrison LLP, a national labor and employment law firm, is pleased to announce that seven Atlanta-based attorneys have been named to Law & Politics' 2011 list of "Georgia Super Lawyers," and two have been named to Law & Politics 2011 list of "Georgia Rising Stars."

The following attorneys were recognized as "Super Lawyers" – Joycelyn L. Fleming, Patricia G. Griffith, Thomas J. Kassin, Jeffrey D. Mokotoff, Norman A. Quandt, Chad A. Shultz and Claude T. Sullivan, Jr.

Attorneys are selected for this honor through a statewide nomination process, peer review by practice area and independent research on candidates.  The rigorous process is designed to identify lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.  Only five percent of attorneys in the state of Georgia are selected for inclusion in "Super Lawyers."

Griffith was highlighted as receiving one of the highest point totals in the Georgia nomination, research and blue ribbon review process and has also been named to the "Top 50 Women Georgia Super Lawyers" 2011 list.

In addition, two Atlanta-based attorneys – Valeria R. Cometto and Raanon Gal - were named to the Law & Politics 2011 list of "Georgia Rising Stars."  This list recognizes the top up-and-coming attorneys in the state -- those who are 40 years old or younger, or those who have been practicing for 10 years or less.
