NJ Justices Raise Hurdle for Sexual Harassment Plaintiffs

"We are absolutely thrilled," said Mark Saloman, who argued on behalf of amicus Employers Association of New Jersey. "We had urged the court to adopt the Faragher-Ellerth standard.

"After 16-plus years of dancing around the issue, the court came down squarely in favor of the Faragher-Ellerth defense," said Saloman, of the Berkeley Heights, N.J., office of Ford & Harrison. "This is a positive development for employers in New Jersey."
