Orlando-Based Attorney Passes the Florida Bar Board Certification Exam for Labor & Employment Law

FordHarrison LLP is proud to announce that Chelsie Flynn has passed the Florida Bar Board Certification for Labor & Employment Law. Approximately 6% of eligible Florida Bar members, or 4,600, are board certified, and only 200 of them are certified specifically in labor and employment law.

The Florida Bar's certification program is repeatedly recognized as a leader among other state programs, and those that pass are in an elite network of highly specialized attorneys. As a Board Certified lawyer, Chelsie is classified as an expert in her practice. To qualify for this honor, an attorney must have practiced law full-time for at least five years, have notable involvement in the labor and employment law practice (at least 50 percent of the attorney's practice), a reputable peer review, completed 60 hours of continuing legal education within three years prior to the time of application, as well as pass a written examination of experience, expertise, and comprehension in the field of labor and employment law.

Chelsie concentrates her practice on representing employers in state and federal litigation, labor and non-labor arbitrations and administrative proceedings under various employment laws, including anti-discrimination statutes, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Employment Retirement Income Security Act, the National Labor Relations Act and the Florida Public Employee Relations Act. She was named a Florida Rising Star" by Super Lawyers magazine from 2010-2014.
