Seven Atlanta-Based Ford & Harrison Attorneys Selected to Super Lawyers 2009 List; Two Attorneys Selected to Rising Stars List

Date   Feb 23, 2009

ATLANTA - Ford & Harrison LLP, a national labor and employment law firm, is pleased to announce that seven Atlanta-based attorneys have been named to Law & Politics' 2009 list of "Georgia Super Lawyers."

The following attorneys were recognized: Joycelyn L. Fleming, Patricia G. Griffith, C. Lash Harrison, Thomas J. Kassin, John L. Monroe, Jr., Chad A. Shultz and Claude T. Sullivan.

Attorneys are selected for this honor through a statewide nomination process, peer review by practice area and independent research on candidates. The rigorous process is designed to identify lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Only five percent of attorneys in the state of Georgia are selected for inclusion in "Super Lawyers."

In addition, two Atlanta-based attorneys - Renee A. Canody and Joelle C. Sharman - were named to the Law & Politics 2009 list of "Georgia Rising Stars." This list recognizes the top up-and-coming attorneys in the state -- those who are 40 years old or younger, or those who have been practicing for 10 years or less.
