Date   Jun 16, 2011

Ford & Harrison LLP, a national labor and employment law firm, is pleased to announce that 17 Florida-based attorneys have been named to Law & Politics' 2011 list of "Florida Super Lawyers" and "Florida Rising Stars."

The following attorneys were named to 2011 "Florida Super Lawyers" list: James G. Brown (Orlando), Peter R. Corbin (Jacksonville), John E. Duvall (Jacksonville), Thomas G. Garwood, Jr. (Orlando), Robert D. Hall, Jr. (Tampa), Andrew S. Hament (Melbourne), Tracey K. Jaensch (Tampa), Allen J. McKenna (Orlando) and Kay L. Wolf (Orlando).

Attorneys are selected for this honor through a statewide nomination process, peer review by practice area and independent research on candidates.  The rigorous process is designed to identify lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.  Only five percent of attorneys in the state of Florida are selected for inclusion in "Super Lawyers."

In addition, eight Florida-based attorneys – Zascha Blanco Abbott (Miami), Todd S. Aidman (Tampa), Chelsie J. Flynn (Orlando), Amy Harrison Turci (Jacksonville), Tammie L. Rattray (Tampa), Kathryn A. Terry (Orlando), Lavern J. Wilson (Tampa) and Aaron L. Zandy (Orlando) - were named to the 2011 list of "Florida Rising Stars."  This list recognizes the top up-and-coming attorneys in the state -- those who are 40 years old or younger, or those who have been practicing for 10 years or less.
