Ford & Harrison LLP, a national labor and employment law firm, announces the addition of
Zascha Blanco Abbott as a senior associate in the firm's Miami office.
Zascha Blanco Abbott focuses her practice on the representation of public and private employers in labor and employment disputes. She has represented employers in a variety of employment matters, such as claims of discrimination, hostile work environment, wrongful discharge, constitutional violations, retaliation, and wage cases. Her labor relations experience includes providing employers with guidance on labor issues. Zascha also provides proactive employment advice to clients including policy development and employee handbook reviews.
Prior to joining Ford & Harrison, Zascha served as an Assistant City Attorney for the Office of the City Attorney for the City of Miami in its labor and employment division. In this role she represented the City's departments in employment and labor matters, and appeared at hearings, trial and appeals.
During law school, Zascha received the B'nai B'rith Justice Unit Scholarship Award for Constitutional Law and served as the Associate Editor for the Nova Law Review before she graduated magna cum laude in 2001. Zascha also interned for the Honorable United States Magistrate Judge William C. Turnoff for the Southern District of Florida. She is also fluent in Spanish.
