About the Program
Join Ford & Harrison attorneys and Marc Freedman, the Executive Director of Labor Law Policy at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, for a breakfast briefing to inform employers on wage and hour as well as other labor and employment laws and regulations currently being discussed in Washington, DC. Marc will discuss the wage and hour regulations on the Department of Labor's agenda, including issues relating to new record keeping requirements that the DOL may seek to impose on employers regarding employees that are exempt from overtime and independent contractors.

Marc will also provide a general overview of other pending labor and employment legislation and how it will impact employers. The U.S. Chamber represents the interests of more than 3 million businesses nationwide before Congress, regulatory agencies and the courts.
