Christiane Nolton's legal practice is focused on the representation of employers in labor and employment law matters. 

Christiane's background of having worked in state enforcement agencies gives her a unique perspective when guiding clients through their most complex labor and employment law issues, from day-to-day workplace disputes to class and collective actions. She has represented companies in a variety of industries, with a specific focus on defending claims of gender, race, disability and sex discrimination as well as defending employment related claims based on common law tort and contract theories.

Prior to joining FordHarrison, Christiane was an associate in the labor and employment law practice group of a large general practice corporate law firm. Prior to that post, she worked for the Tennessee attorney general's office, researching and analyzing health law and consumer protection issues. While in law school, Christiane was a Chancellor's Scholar and was awarded the Dean's Leadership Award. 

Representative Experience
  • Represented one of the world’s largest parcel delivery and logistics companies in defending numerous employment discrimination and retaliation lawsuits and charges.

  • Represented staffing agency in restrictive covenant dispute.

  • Conducted several internal investigations of alleged employment law violations on behalf of clients in the healthcare and manufacturing industries.
