Evan Dancy focuses his legal practice on matters involving discrimination, workplace harassment, benefits and compensation disputes, and other tort claims.

Prior to joining FordHarrison, Evan worked at a regional labor and employment law firm with a focus on plaintiff-side litigation. Evan’s well-rounded experience representing plaintiffs provides him with a unique understanding into the potential challenges that companies face in litigation. Evan has experience litigating claims arising from violations of state and federal statutes such as Title VII, NLRA, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Fair Labor Standards Act, and the North Carolina Wage and Hour Act. Additionally, Evan assists with workplace investigations and aids employers in improving internal HR practices and employee satisfaction.

During law school, Evan acted as a student attorney for his school’s immigration clinic, served as an Articles Editor for the First Amendment Law Review, and competed with the Holderness Moot Court Negotiations Team. Prior to graduation, Evan accumulated over 100 Pro Bono hours providing free legal services to organizations and individuals across North Carolina.
