Justin Clark focuses his legal practice on representing and advising management in employment law matters. 

Justin handles all aspects of employment litigation, including representing employers against claims of discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, wage and hour violations, employee exemption status, trade secret misappropriation, and class and collective actions. Justin represents clients before state and federal courts, in all phases of litigation, as well as before federal, state, and local administrative agencies.

Prior to joining FordHarrison, Justin was an associate in the San Francisco office of a national labor and employment defense firm. He also has previous private practice experience in business, construction, and insurance coverage litigation. Throughout his career, Justin has advocated for a range of businesses, from large Fortune 500 companies to small business start-ups. His experience in a broad range of practice groups enables him to provide strategic and business-focused advocacy for clients.

  • Obtained motion to dismiss on behalf of sports recreation company’s former employee in wage and hour, expense reimbursement, and wrongful termination matter.
  • Obtained favorable settlement for transportation and distribution company in wage and hour putative class action matter.
  • Obtained demurrer and favorable settlement for regional dental practice chain in misappropriation of trade secrets matter against a former employee.
  • Successfully defended national retail chain in race/national origin discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and wrongful termination matter.
