Nicole Espin's legal practice is solely focused on the representation of management in workplace law challenges. 

She routinely counsels businesses on compliance with major federal and state laws regarding employee relations, hiring, termination, employee leave, compensation, and benefits. She also conducts management and employee training and develops and drafts employee handbooks, policies, and procedures. Nicole has represented clients in investigations by federal and state agencies and in employment-related litigation in state and federal courts. She has also participated in labor arbitrations and negotiations. Nicole has represented employers in a large range of industries, with a primary focus on manufacturing, distribution, and transportation.

Prior to joining FordHarrison, Nicole was an associate responsible for labor and employment counseling and litigation in the Morristown office of a large national general services firm.   

  • Negotiated the settlement of a breach of contract claim against a hospitality client for a mutual release of claims.
  • Obtained partial dismissal of claims in a multi-defendant discriminaton and retaliation suit brought under the NJLAD and CEPA. 
  • Represented a multi-state employer in claims brought by a former employee alleging race and gender discrimination.
