Brianne Schuck's practice is dedicated to the representation of employers in labor and employment law disputes. 

She regularly represents public and private entities in California’s civil courts, the United States District Court, and California’s Office of Administrative Hearings. While Brianne is adept at handling litigation and administrative charges for clients, a central focus of her practice is providing preventive advice counseling, and training to employers on a host of employment law topics, including employment discrimination, retaliation, and harassment.

Early in her career, Brianne served as an extern for the Honorable David O. Carter, in the United States District Court, Central District of California. 

Prior to joining FordHarrison, Brianne was an attorney in the Los Angeles office of a boutique law firm where she represented companies in matters involving labor and employment, civil rights, education law and more.  

Representative Experience
  • Investigated numerous harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and violation of internal policy complaints
  • Successfully provided advice and counsel to assist clients in limiting civil liability and other risks associated with investigative results
  • Obtained summary judgment in favor of a public entity client against a high-ranking law enforcement plaintiff alleging failure to provide reasonable accommodations, failure to engage in the interactive process, discrimination, retaliation, and harassment
  • Obtained dismissal in favor of a public entity client in a federal appeal involving alleged violation of educational rights, and newly alleged claims arising under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act/Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act
  • Obtained a defense ruling in favor of a public entity client after a due process hearing involving alleged violation of a student’s civil educational rights
