A significant portion of David’s practice is centered on proactive advice and counsel and he routinely assists clients with internal investigations and advises clients on avoiding and mitigating legal risk.
Before joining Ford Harrison, David was an Assistant Attorney General in the Labor & Employment Section for the State of Georgia, where he defended public universities and state departments in federal lawsuits involving claims of employment discrimination and retaliation under Title VII, Section 1983, ADEA, ADA, and state statutes. David also has appellate litigation experience in both state and federal courts and has presented oral argument multiple times before the Court of Appeals of Georgia.
David also previously worked as an Assistant Attorney General in the Business & Finance Section, where he acted as lead attorney on behalf of state agencies in complex commercial disputes involving breach of contract claims and business torts. His extensive litigation experience positions David well to provide sound legal advice to mitigate legal risk and efficiently manage litigation.
