"For Your Eyes Only? The Ethics of Privileged Communication for In-House Counsel and Practical Guidance on How to Protect It." Presented by Dawn Siler-Nixon

This session will help in-house counsel identify what communication should be treated as privileged and how to go about protecting that privilege.

"Lessons Learned at Trial: A Case Study of a Recent Whistleblower Jury Trial in Florida Sate Courts." Presented by Tracey Jaensch

In this session, you will hear about a recent whistleblower case tried in Florida state courts and learn what you can do to avoid common missteps at trial. 

"Living with the New Employment Regulations: What In-House Counsel Should be Doing to Remain in Compliance." Presented by Todd Aidman and Bill Grob

This session will give in-house counsel practical guidance for implementing the changes associated with the recently enacted employment laws including:

  • COBRA revisions contained in the ARRA
  • ADA amendments
  • FMLA revisions
  • Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act
