Ford & Harrison LLP, a national labor and employment law firm, is pleased to announce that five Memphis-based attorneys have been named to Law & Politics' 2011 list of "Mid-South Super Lawyers and Rising Stars."
The following attorneys were recognized: Louis P. Britt, Herbert E. Gerson, Robert D. Meyers, David A. Prather and Delaine R. Smith.
Britt, Gerson, Meyers and Smith were selected for inclusion in the 2011 list of "Mid-South Super Lawyers." Attorneys are chosen for this honor through a statewide nomination process, peer review by practice area and independent research on candidates. The rigorous process is designed to identify lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Only five percent of attorneys in the state of Tennessee are selected for inclusion in "Super Lawyers."
Prather was named to the Law & Politics 2011 list of "Mid-South Rising Stars." This list recognizes the top up-and-coming attorneys in the state -- those who are 40 years-old or younger, or those who have been practicing for 10 years or less.
