Ford & Harrison Expands Office Space in Melbourne

Ford & Harrison LLP, a national labor and employment law firm, recently announced that the firm's Melbourne office located at One Harbor Place has expanded, more than doubling the existing office space. The expansion was inevitable due to the addition of two attorneys in 2011. The Melbourne office added Louis D. Wilson and Heather L. MacDougall.

"We are pleased to be expanding our office to better serve our clients," said Andy Hament, managing partner of Ford & Harrison's Melbourne office.

Louis Wilson represents employers in all areas of labor and employment law. He regularly advises clients on day-to day employment issues, from drafting and revising personnel policies to conducting sensitive internal investigations and terminations. He also regularly represents employers involved in litigation involving claims of breach of contract, discrimination and wage and hour law violations.  He has significant experience working with clients on traditional labor matters, from responding to organizing campaigns to assisting employers who have union-represented employees.  Over the course of his career he has worked with employers involved in the automotive, construction, energy, financial services, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing, restaurant, retail and technology industries as well as a number of public employers on a wide assortment of matters.  Louis received his J.D., With Honors, from George  Washington University Law School in 1999.

Heather MacDougall represents employers with regard to all matters involving labor, employment, and occupational safety and health law. A substantial portion of Heather's time is spent counseling and representing companies in traditional labor relations, EEO discrimination charges and litigation and OSHA citations. As a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Heather provides proactive counseling and guidance to employers on every aspect of the employer-employee relationship.  She received her J.D. from Marquette  University Law School  in 1994.
