ALANTA – Ford & Harrison LLP, a national labor and employment law firm, announced that three of the firm’s attorneys have been named partner. They are Victoria Chemerys of the firm’s Miami office, William E. Grob of the firm’s Tampa office and Marion F. Walker of the firm’s Birmingham office.

Victoria Chemerys concentrates her practice in the area of ERISA, employee benefits and executive compensation. Her practice includes all matters related to both qualified and nonqualified plan compliance issues, including correction under the various governmental voluntary compliance programs of qualified plan document, operational, demographic, employer eligibility, and administrative errors, and breaches of fiduciary duty. Chemerys was recently listed in the 2008 edition of The Best Lawyers in America. She received her J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law in 2000.
Bill Grob focuses his practice exclusively on labor and employment law representing management largely in trial and arbitration. His practice involves enforcing and defending non-compete covenants, litigating traditional employment discrimination and wage/hour issues and representing schools and educational institutions. He has been a featured speaker at numerous employment and education law-related seminars for managers and organizations throughout Florida and the Southeast. Grob received his J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law in 2000.
Marion Walker brings years of experience in both general and complex litigation and arbitration to Ford & Harrison with more than 55 cases tried to a verdict. She has worked on issues relating to class actions, fraud, securities, business torts, intellectual property, financial instruments and construction. Among her many honors, Walker is a Fellow of the Litigation Council of America and was a member of the Third Citizen’s Conference convened by former Governor Albert Brewer and Supreme Court Justice Oscar Adams (deceased) to develop a plan as an alternative to the election of state court judges. Walker received her J.D. from the Cumberland School of Law in 1976.
