John Hofstetter is an Associate with Kastner, Westman & Wilkins, which is an affiliate of FordHarrison LLP.

John joined KWW after practicing for several years in downtown Cleveland, Ohio and his hometown of Chardon, Ohio.

John brings a wealth of litigation experience to KWW. He started his legal career at a major regional law firm, where he devoted the vast majority of his time to litigation matters. He gained experience and progressively greater responsibility in representing corporate clients in a range of commercial litigation disputes.

John has a keen understanding of legal project management: he evaluates legal matters through the studied grasp of a client’s business and goals, providing candid assessments of litigation options, potential fees involved, possible outcomes, and ways to improve efficiency. He also knows the value of clear communication of a client’s position and the need for aggressive, firm, and immediate action, when necessary.

In addition to litigating a variety of employment cases, John’s work at KWW includes all aspects of the firm’s labor and employment practice, including workplace investigations, representation of employers before a vast array of federal and state administrative agencies, and advising employers on day-to-day employment decisions.

John excelled at the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. He was selected to participate on the staff of the Cleveland State Law Review, and he ultimately served as Articles Editor of the Law Review.
