About the Program
We are pleased to announce our tenth annual conference, in collaboration with our colleagues from Ius Laboris, on Managing an International Workforce. Last year's event attracted over 150 delegates from around the world, and we are delighted to offer the next in this series of updates on topical issues for HR professionals, in house lawyers and others with international employment responsibilities.
As the world economy continues to recover from the deepest recession in recent history, many governments of varying political stripes have placed employment law issues at the centre of their agendas, as they seek to drive economic growth and encourage business activity.
This conference will focus on these changes and other employment law developments, and consider the effects on multinational employers.
Topics include:
- Flexibility in the recovery
- Cross border restructuring: meeting the challenges
- Key differences in employment litigation
- International secondments, inbound and outbound
- Key developments in EMEA
- The challenges of international expansion
- Data protection: A difficult present and an uncertain future
- Key developments in East Asia
- Mediation: A worldwide solution to workplace disputes
- Effective employee engagement
You can download a PDF copy of the full event programme here.
Registration for the conference will begin at 8:30am with the Welcome and Introduction starting promptly at 9:15am. The conference will draw to a close at 4:45pm after which there will be a drinks reception.
