HARTFORD – FordHarrison LLP, one of the country’s largest management-side labor and employment law firms, is pleased to announce that Marissa Vitolo, Counsel in the firm’s Hartford office, has been selected to participate in the Anti-Defamation League’s 2022-2023 Glass Leadership Institute (“GLI”). The GLI is a nationally recognized leadership development program created to provide young professionals with the knowledge, skills and resources to become effective community leaders. GLI participants engage in monthly interactive sessions that revolved around the ADL’s various initiatives and work including combating anti-Semitism and anti-bias trainings in school and communities. Participants are chosen based on their demonstrated leadership qualities as well as their interest in social and political justice and civil rights issues.

Marissa concentrates her practice on the representation of management clients facing employment law or labor relations challenges. Her employment law experience ranges from arguing motions and discovery disputes to preparing witnesses to provide testimony, however her practice is not limited to employment law. Marissa also has first-hand experience representing clients in arbitrations against unions for grievances and disciplinary matters.
