Michael Lewis' law practice is focused on providing counsel and representation to employers in labor and employment law matters.

Prior to joining FordHarrison, Michael was an associate at a Massachusetts-based plaintiff-side law firm where he specialized in civil litigation, white collar crimes, and business law. In this role, Michael drafted motions, summary judgments, complaints, answers, discovery, demand letters, employment agreements, operating agreements, term sheets, subordination agreements, and security agreements. He also second seated several trials in state superior and federal district court. Michael has also sat in on numerous depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.

While earning his J.D., Michael was recognized with CALI awards in International Criminal Law; Criminal Law; Federal Criminal Law; ADR; and Business Litigation. He also was a member of the Moot Court Trial Team competing in the Regional AAJ Moot Court Tournament and was awarded the first "perfect score" (combined direct, cross, and closing) given by the competition judges in ten years. 

Michael dedicates much of his spare time to his passion for fitness and coaching athletes. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach, training and coaching amateur and professional athletes in strength, conditioning, and nutrition. 

Prior to law school, Michael served as the New England Vice President of Sales and Management for an international gym chain. He was the youngest Vice President in company history and oversaw fourteen locations throughout New England. Michael also managed hundreds of employees, which allowed him to strengthen his knowledge in labor and employment law.
