Ryan O'Donnell's legal practice is solely focused on the representation of management in labor and employment law matters.

Ryan has significant experience advising both private employers and public entities in issues impacting the employment relationship in both unionized and nonunionized workforces. He frequently represents and counsels employers in union avoidance campaigns, union decertification campaigns, contract negotiations, and unfair labor practice charges, including appearing on behalf of clients before state and federal agencies like the National Labor Relations Board and the Connecticut CHRO.

As labor and employment counsel to the Connecticut Restaurant Association, Ryan O’Donnell also specializes in issues unique to the restaurant and hospitality industries. He routinely works with restaurants to ensure they remain compliant with Connecticut’s wage and hour laws, Covid-safety regulations, and a host of other legal challenges unique to the restaurant industry.

Clients who are confronted with employment law disputes routinely turn to Ryan for representation and guidance in wage and hour issues, use of social media, discrimination and harassment suits on the basis of age, race, national origin, gender, and disability, leave issues, and retaliation claims.

Ryan is also a member of the Canton Board of Education and resides in Collinsville with his wife and three children.
