Sean McKinley is an associate with Kastner Westman & Wilkins, which is an affiliate of FordHarrison LLP.

Born and raised in Shaker Heights, Ohio, Sean developed a passion for the law at a young age and decided early on in his academic career that he would follow in his mother’s footsteps and become an attorney. After graduating from Hawken Upper School in Gates Mills, Ohio, Sean obtained a degree in English Writing and Rhetoric from Ohio University where he graduated cum laude. Immediately thereafter, Sean enrolled at the Moritz College of Law at the Ohio State University, where he gained valuable legal experience with the Columbus City Attorney’s Zone Initiative by assisting in nuisance abatement proceedings.

During his second summer in law school, Sean was able to return to Northeast Ohio after accepting an offer to begin clerking for Kastner, Westman, and Wilkins. Upon graduation, Sean accepted a position with the firm and has since developed a strong understanding of the needs of employers. Sean assists employers on a wide variety of labor and employment matters, including employment law counseling and day-to-day workforce management.
