OUR PEOPLE

Terry Higham devotes his practice to providing legal counsel and representation to management clients faced with complex employment law concerns.

Terry has appeared on behalf of clients before federal and state courts and handles litigation at both the trial and appellate levels. His practice is directed towards employment and labor matters – advising and representing employers, boards of directors, and senior officers and managers regarding all types of employment litigation, counseling, and transactional matters – but his colleagues frequently tap him to handle business and commercial litigation matters because of his litigation skills and abilities. In addition to courtroom litigation matters, Terry handles administrative proceedings matters pending with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, California Department of Fair Employment and Housing, U.S. Department of Labor, and the California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement.

Prior to joining FordHarrison, Terry practiced with other large national law firms and most recently in a Los Angeles based general services law firm where he represented clients in matters involving employment law, commercial litigation, privacy protection and cultural heritage restitution matters. Although a majority of Terry's clients are in the state of California, he has also handled matters in coordination with local counsel in Texas, New York, Nevada, Arizona and Utah.
