Three Los Angeles-Based FordHarrison Attorneys Named "2015 Southern California Rising Stars"

Date   Jun 5, 2015

FordHarrison LLP, a national labor and employment law firm, is pleased to announce that Stefan H. Black, David L. Cheng and Catherine Hazany have been selected for the 2015 "Southern California Rising Stars" list by Super Lawyers magazine.

The Southern California Rising Stars list recognizes the top up-and-coming attorneys in the state - those who are 40 years old or younger or those who have been practicing for 10 years or less. Attorneys are selected for this honor through a patented multiphase process, peer review by practice area and independent research on candidates. The rigorous process is designed to identify lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. No more than 2.5% of the lawyers in Southern California receive this designation based on peer recognition and professional achievement.

Stefan Black is devoted to counseling employers regarding all aspects of the employment relationship. He concentrates his practice on claims for unpaid overtime, Title VII race discrimination claims, Employee Retirement Income Security Act claims, breach of contract disputes and suits to enforce covenants not to compete.

David Cheng concentrates his practice on the representation of management in labor and employment law matters. David handles a broad range of employment law matters and has extensive experience in litigating wage and hour matters including class and collective actions, and representative action brought under California's Private Attorneys General Act.

Catherine Hazany concentrates her practice on employment litigation, including Americans with Disability Act disputes, sexual harassment and wrongful termination claims. She represents companies in a variety of industries including hospitality, transportation, service and entertainment. Catherine will also be included in the Super Lawyers Women's Edition for this honor.
