Three Los Angeles-Based FordHarrison Attorneys Selected to Rising Stars 2012 List

FordHarrison LLP, a national labor and employment law firm, is pleased to announce that Curtis A. Graham, Catherine Hazany and Michelle Rapoport have been named to the 2012 "Southern California Rising Stars" list.  This list recognizes the top up-and-coming attorneys in the state -- those who are 40 years old or younger or those who have been practicing for 10 years or less. 

Curtis Graham devotes his practice to protecting companies from their employees. He represents management for all types and sizes of companies, from Fortune 500 companies to start-ups, on a broad spectrum of personnel matters, including class action defense, wage and hour issues, discrimination and harassment, discipline and termination, employee health and safety, company investigations and dispute resolution, the protection of trade secrets, and the preparation and application of effective personnel policies. Curtis received his J.D., cum laude, from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2001.

Catherine Hazany concentrates her practice on employment litigation, including Americans with Disability Act disputes, sexual harassment and wrongful termination claims.  She represents companies in a variety of industries including hospitality, transportation, service and entertainment.  Prior to joining Ford & Harrison, Catherine maintained a professional liability defense litigation practice at a law firm in Glendale, California. She also successfully conducted a pro bono arbitration on behalf of a non-profit organization.  Catherine received her J.S. from University of Southern California School of Law in 2003.

Michelle Rapoport concentrates her practice on employment litigation, including discrimination and harassment claims, wrongful termination and wage and hour claims. She represents companies in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, hospitality, health care, and not-for-profit organizations.  In addition, Michelle counsels employers on a variety of issues, including employee terminations, the drafting of employment and separation agreements, employee handbooks and general employment policies and procedures.  Michelle received her J.D. from University of San Diego School of Law in 2006.
