FordHarrison LLP, a national labor and employment law firm, is pleased to announce that its Managing Partner, C. Lash Harrison has been named to "The Nation's Most Powerful Employment Attorneys – Hall of Fame" by Human Resource Executive (HRE) and Lawdragon. This list contains 10 lawyers whose contributions to and excellence in the field have made them legends of the employment bar.
The selection process was performed with online balloting, submissions, and editorial and peer review. Criteria for consideration included recent headline clients or cases; leadership; affiliations and associations in peer-selected organizations; noteworthy publications and speaking circuits; as well as demonstrating good judgement. Winning lawyers have typically practiced more than 20 years and have built a resume of accomplishments that speaks for themselves.
The Hall of Fame is new to the list, which is in its sixth edition. HRE and Lawdragon selected 10 attorneys whose contributions to the field and their respective firm are unparalleled. To be considered, a lawyer must have practiced for 35 years and have demonstrated execellence in counseling clients, contributing to the bar and serving as a visionary to improve the workplace.
Harrison has more than 45 years of experience representing management in all aspects of employment and labor law. Throughout his career, Lash has served in leadership roles in a number of professional and civic organizations. He was a member of the Emory University's Board of Visitors from 1999 to 2002 and a member of the Board's Executive Committee in 2001-2002. Currently, Lash is a member of the Emory University Law School Dean's Advisory Board. He also has served as a Trustee and Board Chair of Trinity School, Inc. in Atlanta. Since the firm's inception, Lash has served as Managing Partner. He has overseen the growth of the firm in recent years and FordHarrison is now one of the largest labor and employment law firms in the United States with nearly 200 attorneys. Lash also serves as chairman of the Executive Committee.
