FordHarrison Names Anessa Abrams Office Managing Partner of Washington, DC Office

FordHarrison LLP, one of the country's largest management-side labor and employment law firms, is pleased to announce that Anessa Abrams has been named FordHarrison's new Washington, DC Office Managing Partner. Anessa came to FordHarrison's Washington, DC office in 2010 and has been a partner since 2013.

"Anessa demonstrated her strong leadership skills as a partner in the Washington, DC office, and we are excited to see her step into the Office Managing Partner position" said Lash Harrison, Partner in the firm's Atlanta office. "Her commitment to superior client service and strong leadership skills will serve our DC office well."

Anessa represents employers in labor and employment matters before federal and state courts and administrative agencies. Her practice ranges from issues arising under the National Labor Relations Act to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and non-compete matters. Anessa assists employers in drafting employment policies and handbooks and counsels corporate executives and managers on the myriad of issues that arise in the employer-employee relationship, including classification issues under the Fair Labor Standards Act, leave requests, employee terminations, and layoffs. Anessa has investigated allegations of inappropriate workplace conduct, and has conducted training sessions for managers and supervisors on EEO issues.
