EU Member States had until 30 July to comply with the revised rules on posted workers. Those new rules expand existing European rules that require workers temporarily seconded to an EU Member State to be granted conditions more like those of local workers in the host country. However, each Member State has its own variations - and some countries have so far failed to implement the new rules at all.
A little while ago we invited lawyers from one group of EU countries to talk to us and in this second webinar, we are joined by a different group. The session will be moderated by Sophie Maes of Claeys & Engels (Belgium) and she will discuss the issues with lawyers from Italy, the UK, Poland, Estonia and Hungary. We look forward to hearing about how the Directive is being implemented in those countries and what it all means for businesses.
