Larry Geist focuses his legal practice on the defense and counsel of management clients facing employment and labor relations challenges.
Prior to joining FordHarrison, Larry was a legal fellow at the University of San Diego Legal Clinics, law clerk at a San Diego based general services law firm and a legal intern at the San Diego Unified School District. This combination of experiences allowed Larry to develop skills in handling employment law issues from the employer's side, understand the day-to-day challenges large in-house legal departments face, and foster strong relationships through client interactions.
While in law school, Larry donated his time to the University of San Diego Veterans Legal Clinic and Education and Disability Legal Clinic. He was also a member of the San Diego Law Review and Secretary of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association, and is currently a co-chair of USD Law’s Asian Pacific Islander Alumni Affinity Network.
