Karen Milner is a Partner with Lowenbaum Law, which is Of Counsel to FordHarrison.

Clients rely on Karen for day-to-day counseling in the areas of Employment Law, Wage and Hour Law, Workplace Safety & Health, Affirmative Action, and Immigration Law. Working with in-house counsel, Human Resources Directors and staff, and Labor Relations Directors, Karen develops strategies to help clients avoid litigation and successfully defend against administrative actions or litigation from current and former employees.

Experienced in representing clients against charges filed with the EEOC, MCHR, IDHR, and CREA, Karen has worked with various federal and state agencies from Kansas to Anchorage. She's handled numerous labor arbitrations for employers facing issues of contract interpretation, and employee discipline and discharge. An expert in Department of Transportation drug and alcohol testing regulations, she has written and edited company handbooks and policy manuals to help clients comply with current laws. A regular contributor and editor for the American Bar Association's Fair Labor Standards Act Supplements, Karen serves as the primary contact for clients on issues dealing with the FLSA, FMLA, OSHA, COBRA, and GINA.

Before joining The Lowenbaum Partnership, Karen worked for Lowenbaum, Bobroff, Hesse, Lindmark & Martone, Sonnenschein, Nath & Rosenthal, and Thompson & Mitchell (now Thompson & Coburn).

A 1987 graduate of the Saint Louis University School of Law, Karen has earned the Martindale Hubbell AV Preeminent Rating.
