Al McKenna, a Board Certified as a Specialist in Labor and Employment law, represents management in all aspects of employment and labor law since 1983. Al is a traditional labor lawyer with extensive experience with union campaigns, collective bargaining, arbitrations, and hearings and trials before the National Labor Relations Board. Al is also an experienced trial lawyer, having tried discrimination cases and related claims in Florida's state and federal courts. Although Al has represented a broad array of employers in a variety of industries all across America, he has focused his practice on health care and government contractors.
During law school, Al served as an editor of the Law Review. He is a regular speaker at conferences and seminars on labor and employment law subjects.

- Developed and implemented a comprehensive audit and union-free training programs for approximately 14,000 employees of several major health care institutions.
- Litigated arbitration involving termination involving ADA issues for Fortune 500 company.
- Litigated arbitration involving termination of employee following failure to return to work after medical release.
- Litigated arbitration involving contract interpretation of management's right to revise job process and job descriptions.
- Litigated complicated ADA, FMLA, and retaliation federal court case for Fortune 100 company.
