John Monroe, Managing Partner of FordHarrison's Atlanta office, was quoted in Law360's article, "4 Employment Mistakes Even Smart Employers Make." The article focuses on four major "don'ts" employers do that they shouldn't.
On employers being lazy with their personnel records John said, "You fire somebody for performance-related deficiencies, then you pull out the last three years of evaluations and they all say ‘meeting expectations,’ and yet in the last three months you’ve got a bunch of write-ups saying how terribly they’re doing, that creates a real problem if it turns out the employee has just informed you they have a disability or they’re pregnant."
