"4 Questions Raised By Trump's Paid Family Leave Proposal," Law360

Date   May 23, 2017

Partner Christine Hanley was quoted in the Law360 article, "4 Questions Raised By Trump's Paid Family Leave Proposal," on the proposed six weeks of paid family leave laid out in President Trump's recently released 2018 spending plan.

The article asks whether employers' taxes will go up, who will be covered, if parental leave will affect unemployment benefits, and how the plan will affect state and company programs.

On employers' taxes going up, Christine said, "We are in our infancy here. I think we will see a lot of variations [between states] with only one thing being certain — that six weeks will be available.”
