Simone McGovern represents employers in a broad range of workplace matters, including claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and other employment-related disputes.

Simone has experience supporting all phases of litigation, from initial case assessment through trial preparation. She has assisted in defending employers against complex workplace claims, including hostile work environment and harassment allegations, by drafting dispositive motions, preparing jury instructions, and conducting in-depth legal research. She also prepares position statements in response to charges filed with administrative agencies and manages written discovery processes, coordinating closely with clients to develop comprehensive and strategic responses.

In addition, Simone has experience taking and defending depositions and preparing witnesses, providing practical guidance to help clients navigate risk and present effective case narratives. Her work also includes reviewing employment-related documents—such as non-compete agreements, employee handbooks, and termination materials—to ensure compliance with applicable state and federal laws.

While earning her J.D., Simone served as the Senior Editor for the Boston College Law Review, was named a Public Interest Designation Program Fellow, and received the Pro Bono Award for Excellence.
