"Best Lawyers" to Honor Two Ford & Harrison Attorneys During 25th Anniversary Event

ATLANTA - Ford & Harrison LLP is pleased to announce that two attorneys will be recognized by The Best Lawyers in America, the country's original and most well-respected lawyer-rating directory. The extraordinary accomplishments of John-Edward Alley and Arnold E. Perl will be honored during the publication's 25th Anniversary Event in Atlanta, Georgia, April 23-25, 2009. The Event will be celebrating the distinguished careers of the 1,397 lawyers who have been listed in the publication since it began rating lawyers in 1983. All proceeds generated by the event will go to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

John-Edward Alley represents employers exclusively throughout the United States in state and federal labor relations and employment law matters, including union avoidance, union organizing campaigns, collective bargaining negotiations, arbitrations, alleged unfair labor practices, strikes, EEO, administrative and court proceedings, including class actions, wage and hour law, including collective actions, OSHA, OFCCP and defense of wrongful termination claims. He is certified by The Florida Bar as a Board Certified Labor and Employment Lawyer. John-Edward is a graduate of the University of Florida College of Law and the New York University School of Law (LL.M. in Labor Law).

Arnold Perl has over thirty years of experience practicing labor and employment law. He focuses his practice on labor law and serving as a Rule 31 Listed General Civil Mediator. He has a wide breadth of experience with the NLRB and was one of only 25 management labor attorneys appointed to serve on the NLRB Advisory Panel under then Chairman William Gould. Arnold has received countless honors and awards and serves on several prominent Memphis area boards including as Chairman of the Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority. In 2006, Arnold co-authored a book, Simple Solutions, with FedEx's Tom Schmitt, which offers expert business and leadership guidance. Arnold is a graduate of the University of Illinois College of Law.
